Banff National Park
Banff National Park is Canada's oldest national park and it was established in 1885, in the Canadian Rockies. The park is located at 80 miles west of Calgary, in the province of Alberta, and has 2,564 square miles of mountainous terrain, numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. The main commercial center of the park is the town of Banff, in the Bow River valley.
Banff is one of the world's most visited national parks.
