Battlefield National Park

Quebec2 Mostly known as the Plains of Abraham, this is one of Quebec's most popular parks and historical attractions. Commemorating the 1759 attack in which Quebec fell to the British under the leadership of General Wolfe, the park features two striking Martello Towers with rotating displays and awesome views over the St Lawrence River. The interpretive centre is housed in the Musee du Quebec. Park admission is completly free, unless you get hungry!
